This fall brought us an updated iOS which Apple says enhances iPhone with all-new personalization features, deeper intelligence, and more seamless ways to communicate and share.  We can’t possibly cover the hundreds of new features in iOS 16 alone in this book, but we will take your from the very beginning of using your iPhone through many challenges to make you proficient and enjoy using your device
We’ll concentrate on the reimagined Lock Screen, changes to Notifications, amazing Photo and Camera features as well as updated Messages, Apple Mail, Maps, enhanced dictation and so much more! 
The appendices are full of guides and how-tos to help you get up to speed. Updated to iOS v. 16.1.1.
 
Version 2 contains corrections and updates to various features to iOS 16.2, including changes to Contacts, Find My, Health, Mail, Maps, Messages, Photos, Reminders, Safari and Weather.  Emergency SOS via satellite and Crash Detection have also been added as well as a new appendix topic on Passkeys (Appendix H).
